Dedication of the Roderick Quiet Garden - June 17th 2018

On Sunday, 17th June, Rev. Philip Roderick, a former vicar of St. Michael's and founder of the Quiet Garden Movement, returned to Amersham with his wife, for the renaming of the Quiet Garden, to the right of the church. After preaching at the 10.00am service, he and Rev. Debbie Oades, the current vicar, led the congregation outside where a plaque was unveiled showing the new name. Further photographs of the event can be found here. There are seats in the garden which is open at any time to anyone who would like to spend a little time in stillness and contemplation.
