Tuesday Club

Tuesday Club Members on a Holiday in Halifax

St. Michael's Tuesday Club is a social group, aimed mainly at people over 50 (hence its former name, St. Michael's 50+ Group), although those of all ages are now welcome to join in our activities, whether or not you are part of the congregation of St. Michael's. The accent is very much on having fun together. We organise a wide range of monthly activities, including visits to theatres and concerts, outings to stately homes and gardens (often National Trust properties) and also talks, which take place principally in the winter.  We have also organised some very successful and enjoyable short holidays, notably to Halifax (where we have spent three long weekends) and to Burgundy in France. We have an annual lunch at a local restaurant in January and a tea party on St. Michael's Square in August. For all outings we travel by coach from St. Michael's and we make sure that everyone is looked after during the visit, so people who are not fully  mobile can also enjoy a day or afternoon out. Transport can always be arranged to our other events.
