Most of us will be afraid at some point in our lives, but God's love is capable of casting out all fear. 'Do not be afraid' the Lord says to Abram in the reading from Genesis. 'All will be well', as Julian of Norwich wrote, 'for contrary to appearances, God remains in charge'.
