Amersham Christmas Tree Festival 2017

EXTENDED BY POPULAR DEMAND

The popularity of Christmas Tree Festivals has grown year by years. This year, COTHA (Amersham Free Church, St John’s Church, and  St Michael and All Angels) have decided to put on such a festival in Amersham-on-the-Hill. It is being held at St Michaels and All Angels, 70 Sycamore Road, Amersham on the Hill, HP6 5DR.

There are 12 artificial trees, each sponsored by a different group or business.

Why get involved?

Following the success of this year's festival, we are already starting to plan for another one next year, so it is not too early to express an interest if you would like to take part. Not only is it great fun to do, it is a wonderful and seasonal way to raise money for local charities. It is a brilliant way to get involved with and help the local community, and a great way for the community to find out more about you as each tree will be labeled with your organisation’s name! Let you imaginations fly, either decorate with bought decorations or have a go at making your own, it’s up to you!

Just Visiting

The trees will be on display until Sunday, 06 January, while the church is open, usually 9.30am – 4.00pm apart from Sundays and holidays. There is no charge to come in, but if you like what you see, we encourage you to leave a donation in one of the collecting boxes. All monies raised are being divided between three charities - Chiltern Child Contact Centre; Workaid and Labaid.

The pictures below give some indication of what you will see.
