A series of seasonal orders of has been developed for use at the Eucharist using material from contemporary texts including Common Worship and Times and Seasons.
Services on Sundays at 8.30am (in the Lady Chapel) and 10.00am, and on Tuesdays at 10.30am (in the Lady Chapel) include Holy Communion and a sermon. The 10am service on Sunday's is usually a sung Eucharist. During Holy Communion the clergy intinct a wafer in the wine before handing it to you, using tweezers. Please cup the host in your hands and consume it once you are seated again.
Morning Prayer takes place in the Lady Chapel every Tuesday at 9am.
St. Michael’s has a fine Walker organ and once a month, at the Sunday, 10am Sung Eucharist, there is a robed choir of mixed voices. The choir includes talented musicians and singers, several of whom are members of local or national choirs and choral societies. New members, from age 7 upwards, are always welcome. Please contact the Parish Administrator for details.
