Worship

A series of seasonal orders of has been developed for use at the Eucharist using material from contemporary texts including Common Worship and Times and Seasons.

St. Michael’s has a fine Walker organ and at the Sunday Sung Eucharist there is a robed choir of mixed voices. The choir includes talented musicians and singers, several of whom are members of local or national choirs and choral societies. New members, especially boys and girls aged 7 upwards, are always welcome. Please contact the Parish Administrator for details.

'In-person' services have now resumed. For the time being, most are said services of Holy Communion with sermon, on Sundays at 8.30am and 10.00am, and on Tuesdays at 10.30am. A sung Eucharist is being offered once a month. Communion is now being offered in both kinds, but rather than everyone taking the common cup, the clergy will intinct a wafer in the wine before handing it to you, using tweezers.

If you are unable to attend in person, the main service of the week, (Sunday 10.00am) is usually live-streamed. The recordings are available on St. Michael’s YouTube Channel, https://www.youtube.com/@stmichaelandallangels/streams
